One room has a double bed and bunk beds, one a double and a single bed, and both take an additional bed or cot. The twin room takes an additional bed or cot. We also have a fourth smaller en-suite twin/single room with a shower.
There are tea and coffee making facilities, radios, TVs, hairdryers and supplementary heating in all rooms. Guests are encouraged to make use of the house, including the conservatory and the lounge, which has a piano and a games cupboard. Other facilities include a high chair, iron and telephone callbox. There is a choice of reasonably-priced evening meals in nearby restaurants, or you can bring your own food and drink back to consume on the seashore, in the conservatory, or in the garden.
We are also a stud farm and riding centre, and offer individually-designed riding holidays for adults or family members. (Please note, though, that we do not accept unaccompanied children.)
We have several miles of grass tracks, a cross-country training course and an outdoor menage with show jumps. In addition to our own staff we also have other local instructors who teach here as required (prices on application). Individually designed courses can be arranged to suit your interests, experience and pocket.
Throughout the summer season we have young peoples days and half-days, where you catch and groom your horse or pony and learn about horse care and management as well as riding.
We also breed horses, and have lots of home-bred young stock to be seen. We cater for horse owners who want stabled or grass holiday livery. Livery prices include use of all facilities at Tal-y-Foel.
