At Edenholme, Anne and Mal who are Welsh born and bred, certainly make their guests feel at home and provide that special family atmosphere which makes your stay relaxing and comfortable. Anne cooks a great full English breakfast but all other meals can be taken at the numerous restaurants and cafes all within easy reach of Edenholme. There is a strict "no smoking" and "no pets" policy for the guest house and bungalow.
The guest house has a family room that takes up to four and there are also two double rooms.
The bungalow sleeps a maximum of five with two bedrooms plus a bed settee. On those hot summer evenings there is room to relax in the patio area at the rear and next to the bungalow.
There is also ample off road parking in the front of Edenholme which takes up to six cars.
Porthcawl has developed into a bustling little town with thousands of visitors in the summer months, and has a growing reputation as a holiday base with Porthcawl Royal Golf Course
and the beach with surfing at Rest Bay being a major attraction.

This area also has the last remnants of a large sand dune system that once stretched along the coast from the river Ogmore to the Gower peninsula.
Some of the dunes now cover the site of an ancient castle and only the castle tower remains above ground.
Bridgend County Council staff manage the reserve and there are guided walks given by reserve wardens.
